The Medlin Payroll Software Magnetic Media W-2 Generating Program is designed to generate the W2REPORT file for submission to the Social Security Administration (SSA). This file is formatted using the EFW2 specifications.
The Medlin Payroll Software Magnetic Media W-2 Generating Program can also be used to generate an EFW2 file to submit quarterly and annual reports to your state, if your state accepts EFW2 files.
Payroll data can be imported directly from Medlin Payroll Software, or you can enter the employer and employee data manually.
If you are a current registered user of Medlin Payroll Software, we can prepare the annual file for you. We will need a copy of your data files, your SSA PIN, name, company name, phone number, e-mail address, and if you are have a retirement plan, the plan type. You can also download the Medlin Payroll Software Magnetic Media W-2 Generating Program and prepare the file yourself.
